Microsoft shares fall in early trading ahead of earnings tomorrow Microsoft shares started Monday's session down ahead of the company’s Q3 earnings announcement after US market close tomorrow. The stock fell to 214.00 before recovering someof these losses. Despite the challenges resulting from the pandemic, the move to mass working from home has helped increase the company's sales, contributing to the share’s highest-ever returnof 40% in the year to date. Microsoft’s earnings per share is set to rise to $1.54, with revenues of $35.72 billion, compared with $1.38 per share and revenue of $33.05 billion during Q3 last year. Earnings per share for the year until June 2021 are expected to increase by 12% to $6.45, with revenues expected to grow 9.7% in the same period.
