Hamad Haider, CLO

As Equiti Group’s Chief Legal Officer, Hamad plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s legal and non-legal strategic goals. His primary responsibility is to oversee legal matters at Equiti, ranging from corporate and commercial to employment, finance, governance, and litigation. Before Equiti, Hamad was as a Partner and Middle East Head of International Business Reorganisations at PwC (Legal) in London and Dubai. Prior to PwC (Legal), Hamad honed his expertise in corporate and commercial law during his tenure at Al Tamimi in Dubai. Hamad’s contributions to the legal industry have not gone unnoticed. He has been recognised by Legal 500 by being added to The GC Powerlist Middle East in 2023. Under his leadership, Equiti’s legal team was recognised as finalists for both the Oath Awards 2023 and the Middle East Legal Awards 2023 as the Legal Department of the Year award, where Hamad was also recognised as a finalist for the 2023 General Counsel of the Year award.
